The MedComp group is part of the Molecular Medicine Department at the University of Padova, Italy. Our research deals with the computational aspects of biomedical research, including both data analysis and software development. Our interest focuses primarily on nucleic acid and protein sequences, as we address different projects in the fields of genomics, proteomics, protein function prediction, microbiology, virology, and phylogenetics.
