My research activity is related to bioinformatics and computational biology. Currently, I am working on the analysis of omics data and their integration with data derived from the analysis of the DNA primary sequence, aiming to characterize the three-dimensional structure of genomes. In particular, my work focuses on the structural modifications involving the DNA double helix (such as DNA secondary structures formation) and their functional implications.
